The TYRANNY OF THE “OPPRESSED“
So the ugly nature of progressivist “intersectionality“ is now on full display thanks to the pro-Palestinian top university leaders and their brainwashed students
Ben Sasse correctly points out in an article that intersectionality is employed by the education establishment to divide people into two groups “the oppressed“ and the “oppressors” and treat both groups accordingly
Palestinians according to liberal students and the leaders of our most esteemed educational institutions belong to the category of the “ oppressed “ because they allegedly have been under Israeli occupation and they live in the Gaza ghetto in dire poverty.
The Israelis and Jews are “ the oppressors” because they allegedly abused Palestinians ever since Israel was created on lands arguably belonging to the Palestinians plus Israel is a successful rich country and so are the Jews
Consequently, the education establishment refuses to condemn Palestinian Hamas terrorism and refuses to condemn anti-Semitic attacks on university campuses against Jewish students and professors.
How does it feel constantly being reminded that you aren’t allowed to enjoy your life without sharing something of value with “disadvantaged” people? How does it feel to be emotionally or financially bullied into helping the uncivilized, dirty, violent “oppressed” people who don’t even wish you well? “Victims of compassion” covers this subject in depth providing you a way out of this tyranny of the oppressed.
Why condemn “free speech“ that calls for the extermination of the oppressors or condemn freedom fighters for the “oppressed“ ( Hamas )?
Yes, but Hamas committed atrocities against Jewish people in Israel not seen since the Holocaust, right?
And elite university students didn’t just criticize Israel, they called for genocide against the Jews!
So what can university elites say about that?
“oh, well, it all depends on the context“ they replied to Congress
Ok then – so the context for killing close to 20,000 Palestinians ( including many Hamas terrorists) is a war against Hamas; Palestinian civilians are normal for this type of military operation “ collateral damage “ – especially considering many of them are being used as a human shield by Hamas militants
So why be so bothered about the deaths of civilian Palestinians in this context then? The context dictates consideration of the totality of circumstances such as the need to eliminate Hamas at any cost since they are terrorists who pose a threat to the existence of Israel so in this context deaths of all Palestinian civilians are justified!
So neither pro-Palestinian student protesters nor the university establishment have the right to condemn Israel IN THIS CONTEXT.
But the big picture is that dividing people into the “good“ oppressed groups and evil “oppressor” groups leads to the tyranny of the oppressed who feel entitled to commit their own atrocities, abuse social rules of behavior, abuse public benefit systems, evade any personal responsibility for their misconduct and crimes all based on their status as a victim!
When these “ victims” are numerous enough they choose the wrong kind of government, the government of the “oppressed victims” that target the “rich oppressors “ with unsustainable taxation, draconian labor laws, racist discrimination against not only the “white people” but minorities that are less loyal to the government than the “ oppressed victims” who elected this type of government.
The “ oppressors “ will only tolerate this abuse up to a point and when pushed to the limit will definitely fight back
The tyranny of the oppressed victims leads to social strife and the demise of the merit-based system (oppressed victims are exempt from working hard because their victims’ status entitles them to fixed income handouts and reparations).
Customer service by the entitled and lazy “oppressed victims” tends to look more like customer abuse.
The education system is turning into a brainwashing operation to breed more “oppressed victims“ and not to provide valuable knowledge on how to become successful in a self-sustaining way.
Media become an instrument of censorship against any opposition.
Public safety becomes the province of vigilantes in the absence of law and order.
A government that rules in the name of the “oppressed victims” kills the economy and is then forced to run all aspects of life having decimated the private sector and private initiative.
Tenants don’t pay rent, workers don’t work, violent criminals take over the streets and society collapses into lawless chaos where normal people struggle to survive amidst government corruption and tyranny, economic devastation, and moral and cultural decline.
This is what happens when intersectionality and its intellectual leaders dominate so we all need to wake up and fight back.
Let’s begin by demanding the removal of those pro-Palestinian university leaders and the mass expulsion of all students who support Palestinian terrorism and this perverse ideology of intersectionality dividing people into the oppressed and oppressors!
